What [Business name: set by the business] collects when you use it to run your welding business, why, who we share it with, and how to get it deleted. We do not sell personal information.
Who we are
This policy covers the service provided by [Company legal name: set by the business] ("[Business name: set by the business]", "we"), [Address for legal notices: set by the business].
What we collect
- Account details: your name, business name, email and sign-in information.
- Customer records you enter: names, phone numbers, emails, companies and job-site addresses.
- Job information: quotes, line items, change orders, schedules, job costs, photos and notes, and certification records.
- Payment information: card payments are handled by Stripe. We receive payment status and amounts, not full card numbers.
- Technical data: device, browser, IP address and logs used to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
- To run the service — including sending quote, change-order and invoice links when you ask us to.
- To provide support, keep accounts secure and prevent misuse.
- To maintain and improve the service.
- We do not sell personal information and do not use your customers' information for advertising.
Your customers' information
You decide what customer information to store and we process it on your behalf. If one of your customers asks about their data, they should contact you; we will help you respond.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that host and operate the service (for example hosting, sign-in and message delivery), under confidentiality obligations.
- Stripe, to process payments you accept.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, or a successor if the business is sold.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. "Delete client data" on a customer record removes that customer's personal details. Invoices and payment records may be kept as long as accounting and tax law require. After an account closes we delete or anonymize its data within a reasonable period.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure. Keep your sign-in private and tell us about anything suspicious.
Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your information. Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you additional rights; contact us to use them.
The service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16.
Changes and contact
We will post changes here and update the date above. Questions or requests: [Support contact: set by the business].
